"The Lust Killer" By Ann Rule
During the late 1960's women living in Oregon were terrified to leave home. A killer was on the loose. Young women were being abducted, mutilated, raped, and killed. Police and acquaintances would have never guessed the murderer to be Jerry Brudos. A young and quiet man who seemed to everyone like a gentle teddy bear. A loving husband and father with a killer secret and sick mind. A man who was aroused by inflicting pain on his victims even sexually assaulting them after their death. This is the story of the lust killer.
Ann Rule is quickly becoming my favorite true crime author. She had first hand experience from her friendship with Ted Bundy which gives her more insight into the minds of serial killers. I love her writing style of fictional books based on true stories. I had never hear of the Lust Killer until I found this book. Man was this guy f****d up in the head! In all its screwed up and disgusting ways I couldn't put it down. I cannot wait to grab another Ann Rule book!
Five out of five stars.
