" A Reliable Wife" By Robert Goolrick
This is the story of thirty year old Catherine Land and the wealthy, fifty year old Ralph Truitt. Years ago Ralph lost his wife and son. Alone all this time he is ready for some company. He puts and ad out in the newspaper asking for a simple, honest, and reliable wife. Mr. After choosing Catherine, Truitt quickly realizes she is not who claimed to be and what she wants is his money.
THIS BOOK WAS PAINFUL! I was expecting this story of deceit, full of surprises and mystery. That is NOT what I got. It felt like half the book was filled with sex scenes and no true emotions. It was the biggest let down in a long time. Although it was unbearable most of the time. You know me....once I start a book I refuse to quit. I have to see it too the end even if it's painful to continue. One star for this disappointment.
